Elementary School Challenges during Pandemic

The pandemic situation presents a challenge for students, teachers, and parents to use technology to sustain the educational world, especially elementary students who most still rely on parents to carry out online school.

At the same time, this challenge benefits that learners can become self-reliant learners by following online lessons. However, technology remains unable to replace the role of teachers and learning interactions between learners and teachers because education is not only about acquiring knowledge but also about value, cooperation, and competence.

According to studies I do with a few elementary school students and their parents in the rural areas where I live, showing that the problematic condition of students is that students find it difficult to understand the learning materials presented by teachers, students are not motivated to learn, students are not well informed, parents are overworked and unable to teach their children, and a parent who can't help their children doing their task.

The action I make to solve the problem is to collect and teach a few students who have not understood the learning given by teachers, teach them how to use Google Classroom to collect assignments, and give understanding to parents the importance of education for children as well as from home.

By doing some of these things, I hope students can understand the materials they haven't understood before and they are still exicted in this online school. May they can be proud for parents, nation, and countries in the future.

Thank you for visiting and reading my blog. Don't forget to leave comments, stay healthy and happy everyone!

It is difficult for elementary school children and their parents to learn online during this pandemic. Because most parents don't understand to use mobile phones and technology in learning. And I agree that your actions are to help them in online learning so that they can understand the assignments given by their teachers and how to submit their assignments in google classroom.

  3. for the age of children, they are more likely to need someone to explain or understand something different from adults who tend to find out on their own or ask those closest to them.

    What you did was great!
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to learning from home regulations that pose new challenges for teachers, students and parents.
There are so many learning challenges during a pandemic. Challenges after challenges arise every time, starting from the patience of parents teaching their children at home who must control their emotions, most children now tend to ignore orders from teachers such as assignments given, so that children become lazy and difficult to develop and it is even more difficult for teachers and students. students who do not have access to the internet and do not have mobile phones.
